Sexually Transmitted Diseases
Sexually transmitted diseases are the diseases that are transferred into your body through any sexual activity. For example chlamydia, HIV, genital warts, genital herpes, gonorrhea, etc are known as sexually transmitted diseases. Sexually transmitted diseases were earlier called venereal diseases. These are known to be the most contagious diseases. STDs are serious sickness that needs treatment. A few STDs, for example, HIV, cannot never be cured and can be dangerous. Herpes and HIV are those diseases that are not cured by any method. These are the chronic conditions that you can manage for sometimes but these are not treatable. Hepatitis B is also one of these diseases that can be managed but not completely cured.
